NEW PROCESS — IMPROVED FLOW!
To book a reservation for your event, follow these steps:
1. Check our calendar on https://pbyc.org/calendar to ensure your requested date has no meaningful conflicts!
2. Create an invitation in your own calendar system like Outlook, Gmail or other.
– Title: Member Reservation Request – <My Name/Event Name>
– Make sure to select the desired date and time. Include time needed for setup and cleanup.
– Number of guests:
– Purpose of event:
– Club Only, Club with Kitchen, Club with Kitchen and Bar
– Guests: pbyc-board@googlegroups.com
3. That’s it. You will be able to see the new event on PBYC.org/calendar soon as the group includes our pierpontbayyachtclub@gmail.com account.
Next, our board members will CONFIRM the event in their calendar and once you have 4 confirmation/approvals, you can update the title of your event to “Confirmed – Member Reservation…..” If we cannot approve the event, we will decline it. You may reach out to the same email address pbyc-board@googlegroups.com for any questions or concerns.
We hope that this new process is SUPER efficient. When you pencil in a meeting request it will automatically show up. When you need to change the date, you can do this on your end.
